Pat Cummins calls clash with Mumbai Indians insane

On 27th March, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored the highest total in the history of the Indian Premier League. They thrashed Mumbai Indians for 277 runs, breaking the previous record held by Royal Challengers Bengaluru who scored 263. Talking in the post-match press conference, SRH Captain Pat Cummins couldn’t believe such a game occurred, calling it “insane”.

That was insane. The ball was really pinging around. Not until we bowled, it got a bit too close for comfort. They found a boundary whenever they needed it, but we finished it off well.  Pat Cummins in the post-match conference

Despite scoring 278, SRH were close to losing the match, as Mumbai Indians also scored 246 runs. The MI batters attacked from ball one but faltered towards the end of their innings, thanks to some great bowling by the pacers.
